Biography
Maria Angelina Shanley is a dancer and performer based in Newcastle upon Tyne. She trained professionally at Addict Dance Academy, one of the UK’s top performing arts institutions, where she earned three qualifications in just three years: the FDA Dance Performance Level 4 & 5, and a BA (Hons) Dance Performance Top-Up Degree. Now agency represented, Maria is actively pursuing opportunities in the commercial dance industry. Alongside her performance work, she is also developing her skills as a choreographer, exploring new creative directions. Maria has had the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers such as Jared Hageman, Johnny Bishop, Chris Clark, and Mark Webb, performing their work on stage. She is currently performing as a dancer at The Purple Peacock and is excited to continue growing her career in both performance and choreography.
